निधी संकलन समितीच्या वतीने आपले सहर्ष स्वागत. "बाकीची सगळी नाटकं करता येतात पण पैशाचं नाटक करता येत नाही" हे अगदी माजघरातून आलेलं वाक्य वाटलं तरी ते चिरंतन सत्य आहे याची प्रचीती आपल्या सर्वांना खचितच आलेली असेल. अधिवेशनाची जबाबदारी स्वीकारण्यापूर्वी महाराष्ट्र मंडळ, शिकागोच्या सभांमध्ये दोन विषय प्रामुख्याने चर्चिले गेले. एक म्हणजे, पुरेसे स्वयंसेवक मिळतील का? आणि दुसरा म्हणजे, पुरेसा निधी जमेल का? महाराष्ट्र मंडळ शिकागोच्या चाळीसहून अधिक वर्षांच्या परंपरेत अनेक लोकांनी हातभार लावून ही संस्था मोठी केली आहे म्हणून स्वयंसेवकांची कमतरता पडणार नाही असा विश्वास होता. त्या प्रमाणे दोनशेहून अधिक उत्साही कार्यकर्ते पुढे आले. परंतु अमेरिकेतल्या मंदीची झळ बसलेल्या उद्योग समूहांकडून निधी संकलनाची किती अपेक्षा ठेवावी ह्या बाबतीत साशंकता होती.
हे अधिवेशन उत्तर अमेरिकेतल्या समस्त मराठी बांधवांचं आहे तेंव्हा त्यांचाच यथाशक्ती हातभार लावून ते यशस्वी करायचं ठरवण्यात आलं. अधिवेशनासाठी होणाऱ्या खर्चाकडे काटेकोरपणे पाहून त्यावर योग्य ते नियंत्रण राखण्याचा प्रयत्न करूया असंही ठरलं. वाढत्या महागाई मुळे केवळ नोंदणी शुल्काची आवक अधिवेशन संपन्न करण्यासाठी पुरत नाही असा गेल्या काही अधिवेशनांचा अनुभव आहे. त्या मुळे आश्रयदाते, हितचिंतक, जाहिरातदार अश्या प्रकारच्या अनेक व्यक्ती, संस्था आणि उद्योग यांच्याकडून आम्ही मदतीची अपेक्षा करतोय.
आनंदाची गोष्ट म्हणजे आमच्या आवाहनाला आजपर्यंत अभूतपूर्व प्रतिसाद लाभला आहे. आमच्या देणगीदारांसाठी काही खास सवलती आम्ही उपलब्ध केल्या आहेत. आपण सर्वांनी त्यांचा लाभ घ्यावा आणि हे अधिवेशन यशस्वी करावे ही नम्र विनंती.

The Fundraising Committee (FRC) of BMM 2011 Chicago Convention welcomes you to our web page.
FRC is working diligently to make the 2011 BMM Convention in Chicago an exciting and truly memorable experience. We are very fortunate to have support from more than 250 volunteers to make this event a big success. Besides hard working volunteers, the other integral part of a successful BMM convention is sufficient money. The registration fees and food cost paid by the participants contributes approximately 65% of the total expenses. The rest of the 35% is contributed by many generous donations from individuals and corporations for this cause. FRC volunteers are reaching out to individual and corporate donors and sponsors.

On behalf of FRC and the entire BMM 2011 Chicago team, we want to thank all the donors and sponsors who have already donated generously.
