Welcome and Hospitality Committee

We thank you for your interest in the BMM 2011 convention in Chicago. We hope that you will decide to attend and enjoy the convention while basking in our warm medley of Midwestern and Maharashtrian hospitality. As members of the Hospitality Committee, we are committed to making your overall experience enjoyable and memorable.

We have planned a wide spectrum of entertainment, social and educational programs for you. The venue for the convention is the McCormick Place on Chicago’s scenic lake front. You will be able to enjoy music and drama programs in the famed Arie Crown Theatre which provides an excellent view of the stage from each seat with superior acoustics. Between the programs you will have ample opportunity to socialize, meet old friends and make new ones.

For those of you who want to venture beyond the borders of the convention, Chicago offers many sightseeing choices: Willis (formerly Sears) and Hancock Towers, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Art Institute, Field Museum, Museum of Science & Industry, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium --- the options are endless. All these places are within a short cab ride from McCormick Place. More information about sightseeing will be made available as we get closer to the convention.
