On behalf of the Volunteer and Human Resources Committee, we would like to welcome all of you to Chicago for the 2011 BMM Convention.

The BMM convention is a fun-filled and memorable event. We are expecting over 4,000 people from North America and across the world to attend this grand function. We have a group of over two hundred volunteers working in eighteen different committees. Volunteers are the most important resource for any organized activity.

Our Mission Statement: Together we can do it!

Our Objective: To provide volunteer support for all committees throughout the convention process and to create proper balance in utilization of volunteer resources for a successful convention.

Five plus One Principles for our Success

• We are committed to offering an enjoyable experience and hospitality to every attendee. Let's be generous and accommodate all the attendees’ needs.
• Let's encourage and respect every volunteer's contribution.
• Be kind and considerate to each volunteer. We are all working hard to make this convention successful.
• All ideas will be respected
• Every idea or desire cannot be fulfilled and decisions taken may not always please every individual. Let's keep our faith and trust in fair play intact and accept the decisions with grace and make this convention a grand success.
• Although we do the impossible immediately, miracles may take a little longer!
